Dealer Notes

"The 2019 Toyota Highlander is among the most recommendable crossover SUVs for busy families. With three rows and seating for seven or eight passengers depending on configuration, the Highlander is roomy, versatile and easy to drive and live with. The 2019 Highlander is available in several trims, but all are exceptionally safe thanks to a robust suite of accident-avoidance and driver-assistance systems. A 4-cylinder is offered in base models, but you're better off with the more powerful -- and more efficient -- V6. An impressive hybrid model is also available. Toyota's midsize SUV remains a strong competitor to the Honda Pilot, not to mention newer competitors like the Volkswagen Atlas and Subaru Ascent. About our only qualm with the Highlander is its lack of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration."~kbb

  • Front seat headrests force head too far forward

By Ken on Friday, June 21, 2019

This is our 2nd Highlander Hybrid and we are keeping our 2008. My gripe is with the front seat headrests that force one's head too far forward and are not adjustable like the Subaru's. The 2008 is comfortable, but the 2019 is not because of the headrest. It's especially a problem now that I have sciatica and should keep my back straighter and my hip rotated a bit forward.
  • All is Aweome but the Voice Recognition/NAV a ZERO

The ride, power and technology is awesome. But like I said in the Summary, I give the the Navigation and the Voice recognition a big fat 0 out of 10. I thought Siri could be bad, this takes bad to another level. NAV never takes the route that my phone gives me, not even close. My brother and I both bought a new Toyota about a week apart and the experience is the same for both of us, so much we joke about it on the phone because he lives 500 miles away. We will be in our SUV and say listen to this. Directions to main st Columbus Ohio, it will come back and say finding a doughnut shop closest to you (just an Example) We have both trained and retrained the system but owell we both have smart phones to rescue us and that isnt why either of us bought our SUV. I would buy it again even with the short comings of some of the techy stuff.
  • Toyota...Bulletproof, reliable, stylish, ’nuf said

Just finished two months of terrible winter weather. Highlander started at 18 below- wind chill 60 below-after almost eleven hours in work parking lot. AWD works flawlessly, added Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires to increase snow and ice performance even more. Would buy again, no question!!!
