Dealer Notes

America's best-selling hybrid moves to solidify its position, adding new features to keep it one step ahead of competitors like the Hyundai Ioniq, Kia Niro, Chevy Volt and Honda Insight, not to mention larger hybrid sedans like the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. Adding to the 2019 Toyota Prius' impressive reputation for safety, reliability and fuel economy is the availability of all-wheel drive (AWD), a first for a hybrid car in this class and one that promises to make the Prius a better year- round companion. Although no longer the fuel-mileage king, the Prius' futuristic design helps it stand out from more traditionally styled hybrids, and with four trim levels from which to choose, there's a Prius to fit just about every taste and budget.~kbb

  • An Excellent Improvement

I had a 2013 Prius that I replaced with this Four Touring. The handling and ride is much better. Because I purchased a more expensive model, the features are also better. Things that I really like: Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), Dynamic Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, Better Rear Camera and Object Closeness Warnings... (It triggers each time I pull into the garage). Minor Plus: QI Charging for my Cell Phone. The MPG is much better than my prior Prius. When I drive to work, I usually got in the low 40's. Now I get in the low 50's. I like them moving the P/R/D stick. Negatives: I miss some of the storage that I used to have: 1) The Split Glove Box.; 2) The Storage Space under the Carpet in the Back. Overall, just a better car.

After owning a 2011 Prius for 115,000 miles our new Prius is even better. The car is much quieter and more comfortable than the prior model. Ours is equipped with all the technology packages which make the car safer and more pleasant to drive. The dynamic cruise control makes long distance driving easier, as regular cruise control can be used less and less. After 4000 miles I am consistently getting mileage locally in the low to mid 60's and upper 50's to low 60's on the highway !

Owned a 2010 and 2011 prius this 2016 is sooo much better , first half tank of gas got 56.2 with me doing the math, computer seems higher as did the 2010 and 2011 ,sits a little lower and I am 6 2 but manual seat has same lift as older model so you can raise seat up. checked out the power seat but could not get same height, I have the three model and it is much quieter, ride is nice , just a better car in all aspects. Great nav and radio also
