  • Unresolved fuel filling problem

Gas tank will not fill. Toyota is aware of the problem and does not have a fix.
  • Great car with feedback monitoring for hybrid

I have the XLE with the tech package. This car is amazing. It keeps me from hitting stuff when I get to close. It warns me when people are crossing behind me. Adaptive cruise control is my new best friend. Best of all, I like the gas mileage. I’m getting over 41 mpg per tank of gas. I drive city highway and rural river highway. Beats the 24 mpg on my 2010 Kia Soul. I find the RAV4 responsive, the engine quiet enough, and the new technology intuitive enough. This car was worth the 3 month wait.

So far I really like this car, it drives nice and looks great. I bought the sxe hybrid with all of the upgrades... 2 things to be aware of. 1. The phone pairing system is an apple carplay system and doesn't play well with samsung. When I try and import my phone contacts it freezes up at 515 contacts and automatically reboots the whole system. The only way I can use bluetooth is if you go to settings and unselect the "Contact Access". This way you can at least play music. You just won't be able to use any contact information. This is really annoying considering it is almost a $40k vehicle. The Dealership couldn't figure it out either. 2. Since it's a hybrid it has a screeching almost ear piercing choir noise coming from a speaker under the hood when engaged in reverse as a safety feature. It's obscenely loud and I always get horrified looks from passerby's who think my car is about to explode. There is no fix for this as it will throw an error code if disabled. I just wish that Toyota would have made the noise a few decibels lower and a little more pleasant. Hopefully Toyota fixes these problems in the near future or I'm afraid I might have some buyers remorse.
